What are live online classes?
They are live instruction class on Zoom geared to your child’s age and interests. The class is led by a certified teacher. Students are at home on their computers engaging and following along.
Does a parent or guardian have to be present?
Yes. Someone of the age 18 or older has to be supervising the child. It is encouraged that adults are in the same room and help students when necessary.
How do I find the Zoom link to join my scheduled online class?
You can join your class by clicking the Zoom link sent to you in an email from Blooming Buddies (please check your junk mail because sometimes it can get lost) or you can sign into our app and find your class.
Will I need materials for class?
Our live online classes suggest materials for classes to enhance a child’s learning experience. We believe children learn by doing. A material list will be sent to your emails prior to your class.
What happens if I miss a live class?
Cancelations for a booked class must be canceled 48 hours prior to your class and you will be refunded your class fee. If it is canceled later than 48 hours before you will not be refunded.
Can I have both kids sit in on the same class?
If the child is not signed up for the class as well then he or she cannot show up on screen. Only the child who is signed up can sign up on screen, however if the other child wants to follow along on the side they are welcome to do so! Our classes are designed so the maximum number of students is six and the class size is intimate.
Are live classes recorded?
Yes, video and audio are recorded during classes but only for quality and safety assurances.
